Presidents of Brazilian Olympic and Paralympic committees participate in webinar on COVID-19’s impact on sport
On Wednesday, June 3, FGV Projetos will hold another meeting in the “Sport’s Challenges and Prospects After the COVID-19 Pandemic” series, to discuss subjects such as the impact on sporting championships and leagues, athletes’ training, public policies and sport at public sector schools.
The guest speakers will be Paulo Wanderley, the president of the Brazilian Olympic Committee; and Mizael Conrado, the president of the Brazilian Paralympic Committee and two-time gold medalist in 5-a-side soccer (for blind athletes). They will discuss the crisis from the perspective of sport management organizations. The webinar will also feature José Eduardo Quintella, the executive manager of FGV Projetos; and Ricardo Leyser Gonçalves, a former sport minister and FGV Projetos consultant.
