Professional Master’s in Public Administration holds opening lecture in Brasilia

FGV’s Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (EBAPE) held the opening lecture of the Professional Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) on August 13, in Brasilia. The program is held in partnership with the Office of the General Counsel for the Federal Treasury (PGFN) and partner agencies, such as the Brazilian National Department of Infrastructure and Transportation (DNIT), National Treasury Office and Ministry of Finance.

The opening lecture kicked off the program's academic activities, with the program coordinator, Professor Roberto Pimenta, welcoming the new master’s candidates and presenting the program’s structure, academic tools, international modules, and the library. After the presentation, the students were invited for a breakfast event and then attended the first Research Methodology class, with professor Joaquim Rubens Fontes Filho.

After class, the students were welcomed at a cocktail party offered by PGFN, which included the dean of EBAPE, Professor Flávio Vasconcelos, the General Counsel of the Federal Treasury, Fabrício da Soller, the Deputy Director of the Department of Corporate Management, Ronaldo Affonso Baptista, and the President of the Union of Counsels for the Federal Treasury (Sinprofaz), Achilles Frias.
