Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV EBAPE) and the Rio de Janeiro State Education Secretariat (SEEDUC-RJ) have formed a partnership to grant scholarships to candidates who attended state government high schools and want to take FGV’s online technological undergraduate course in public management. In all, there are 200 scholarships available. For the first 50 vacancies, candidates must apply to take FGV’s university entrance exam for the technological undergraduate course in public management no later than August 22.

The course is designed to develop managerial skills using tools and techniques related to the process of managing public policies, programs and projects, in order to establish new coordination and advisory practices in public administration, as well as at public utility companies and third sector organizations.

The two-year program is structured into eight three-month periods. Students must take three subjects in each period, totaling 1,605 class hours. Graduates of the technological undergraduate course in public management have the right to register with the Regional Administration Council, in accordance with Federal Administration Council Resolution 374 of 2009.
