Second FinTech & Law Program: course debates regulation of new businesses in financial system
Fundação Getulio Vargas’ International Division, in partnership with its Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo law schools, is holding the Second FinTech & Law Program. Applications for this course will be open until May 31. The second edition of the program will examine new business models involving disruptive innovation and the regulatory framework governing the Brazilian and international financial system and insurance market.
Held through video classes, the second FinTech & Law Program will invite FGV specialists and market authorities from Brazil and other countries to discuss innovations and regulations in the financial and insurance markets. The speakers will include representatives of institutions such as the World Bank, Brazilian Central Bank, Brazilian Private Insurance Regulatory Agency, Deutsche Bank, Stanford University, UBS AG, Quanto and University of New South Wales.
The subjects explored will include “The Relationship Between Incumbents and Fintechs,” “Insurtechs and Their Impact on the Insurance Market”, “Data Portability and Open Finance”, “The Social and Market Impacts of Open Banking and Instant Payments” and “Regulatory Sandboxes”.
