Vestibular (Entrance Examination): FGV receives applications for 2020 selection process for its undergraduate courses

Starting this Monday, July 1, 2019, Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) will be receiving applications for the 2020 Vestibular (Entrance Examination). This year’s innovations are the launch of the Data Science course in Rio de Janeiro and the offer of the first undergraduate course in Public Administration in Brasilia. The selection process also includes courses in Administration (RJ), Public Administration (SP), Business Administration (SP), Social Sciences (RJ), Law (RJ and SP), Economics (RJ and SP), Applied Mathematics (RJ), and International Relations (SP).

Registrations for the FGV Entrance Examination will be accepted until 6:00 p.m. on October 8, with special conditions for candidates who sign up for the selection process until 6:00 p.m. on August 9. Another innovation for this year is the fact that all courses will also accept registrations via ENEM  (National Secondary School Examination), until January 10 next year. Candidates may also sign up through international selection processes in the courses in Administration, Social Sciences, Economics, and Law, in Rio de Janeiro. In Sao Paulo, this access route will be valid for all current courses: Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, Economics, and International Relations.

In Rio de Janeiro, FGV offers 100 vacancies for Administration (70 for entrance examination, 20 for ENEM, and 10 for international selection processes); 100 for Economics (65 for entrance examination, 25 for ENEM, and 10 for international selection processes); 40 for Data Science (32 for entrance examination and 8 for ENEM); 50 for Social Sciences (35 for entrance examination, 10 for ENEM, and 5 for international selection processes); 100 for Law (70 for entrance examination, 20 for ENEM, and 10 for international selection processes); and 51 for Applied Mathematics (41 for entrance examination and 10 for ENEM).

In Sao Paulo, 250 vacancies are available (200 for daytime and 50 nighttime) for Business Administration (211 for entrance examination, 20 for ENEM, and 19 for international selection processes); 100 for Economics (80 for entrance examination, 5 for ENEM, and 15 for international selection processes); 80 vacancies for Law (68 for the entrance examination, 10 for ENEM, and 2 for international processes), and 100 vacancies for International Relations (78 for entrance examination, 10 for ENEM, and 12 for international selection processes). The Public Administration course, offered in the city of Sao Paulo and for the first time open in Brasilia, offers 100 vacancies in Sao Paulo (70 for entrance examination, 15 for ENEM, and 15 for international selection processes) and 50 vacancies in Brasilia, (35 for entrance examination, 8 for ENEM, and 7 for international selection processes).

Applicants who have completed or are completing High School education in a public school in Brazil or who have received a 100% scholarship in institutions of the private network throughout High School may apply for exemption from the registration fee. The request must be made by September 27.
