Webinar addresses legal framework for investment in transport infrastructure projects

On August 28, FGV Transport will hold a webinar called “The Legal Vision for Transport Infrastructure Project Investments, Arbitration and Institutional Relations.” The event will be broadcast live on FGV’s YouTube, starting at 2 pm.
The webinar will explore the legal perspective of investments, arbitration, tax and institutional relations concerning transport, logistics and urban mobility infrastructure projects. The idea is for participants to talk about what they expect after COVID-19, what will be different, new rules and management models, initiatives to reduce bureaucracy and speed up decision making, risks and the business environment.
These topics will be presented by Bernardo Vieira Klüppel Carrara, a lawyer at law firm Wald Antunes Vita Longo e Blattner Advogados, who is also a member of the University of Brasilia’s Arbitration Research Group and Dispute Resolution Research and Working Group.
The subjects will then be debated by Alessandro Rostagno (Sao Paulo Catholic University), Riccardo Giuliano Figueira Torre (law firm Wald, Antunes, Vita, Longo e Blattner Advogados), Tatiana Carius (law firm Medina Osório Advogados), and Ana Cândida de Mello Carvalho (law firm Barbosa Müssnich Aragão). The moderator will be Rodrigo Vilaça of FGV Transport.
