Webinar discusses retail market and neighborhood stores
Physical retailers have adapted to new shopping and consumption habits. Thus, neighborhood stores have gained prominence, but they have different roles, including the operation of autonomous stores. In this context, Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Business Administration will hold an online debate on September 23, at 6 pm, on FGV’s YouTube channel, called “Neighborhood stores: they may look the same from afar, but close-up they have many specific features”.
In neighborhood stores, average decisions can be fatal. For this reason, it is essential to know local consumers and their different purchasing occasions, taking into account the shopping experience, treating each store in a unique way and using assortment intelligence.
During the event, the speakers will discuss this ecosystem, its trends, value proposition, specific operating factors and challenges to be successful in this segment after the pandemic, in line with increasingly demanding consumer profiles.
The speakers will be Dacio Andrade Moraes, senior operations director at Dia Brasil; Fábio Ferraz de Oliveira, operations director at Carrefour Express; Letícia Guilhermino, marketing and new business director at Enxuto; Roberto Barbera Rincon, commercial director at Grupo Nós (Shell Select and OXXO convenience stores); and Tom Ricetti, a serial entrepreneur who founded Pão To Go and ONII.
The moderator will be Olegário Araújo, a researcher at FGVcev and co-founder of Inteligência360.
