Webinar looks at compliance and governance at organizations
FGV Executive Education will hold an online debate about the relevance of compliance and governance at organizations on August 12, 2021, at 7 pm, on FGV’s YouTube channel.
The event is part of another edition of FGV’s Executive Education Forum in Brasilia. The aim is to explore the world of corporate governance, conflict minimization, risk measurement, stock exchange listing segments, regulatory bodies, compliance positioning and the pursuit of market confidence.
Talks will be given by two FGV Executive Education professors: Evandro Ferreira Gomes, who has a doctorate in administration from Florida Christian University; and Pierre Wagner, who has a master’s in economics from Brasilia Catholic University and another master’s in administration from the University of California, Irvine. The moderator will be André Limeira, academic coordinator and professor at FGV Executive Education, who has a doctorate in law, institutions and business from Fluminense Federal University.
The webinar is being organized by FGV Executive Education’s Executive MBA in Finance: Controllership, Audit and Compliance Program. This course is designed to provide an understanding of financial planning, execution and control at organizations, as well as knowledge of modern principles and techniques in the areas of finance, controllership, auditing and corporate governance.
