2013 Retrospective: FGV is once again among the top 30 think tanks in the world

FGV is once again in first place among think tanks in Central and South America, and is considered one of the best in eight other ranking evaluations.

2013 Retrospective > For the fourth year in a row, FGV is considered one of the top 30 think tanks in the world, according to the Global Go To Think Tank Rankings. Produced annually by the Department of International Relations at the University of Pennsylvania, the ranking evaluates over 6600 think tanks from 182 countries.In this edition, FGV climbed three positions to 24th place on the list of top think tanks ? including those in  the United States ? and is the only Brazilian institution among the top 100. FGV is once again in first place among think tanks in Central and South America, and is considered one of the best in eight other ranking evaluations: International Development, Domestic Economic Policy, Social Policy, Exceptional Research Programs, Best Use of Internet and Social Media, Best Programs for External Relations/Public Engagement, Greater Impact on Public Policy and Best Produced Studies between 2011 and 2012.Altogether, the ranking features 38 categories.
