2023 FGV university entrance exam: discover our applied mathematics course
Applied mathematics is the field that deals with the application of mathematical knowledge and tools in other domains. Until recently, it focused on the physical sciences and engineering. Today, however, there is a much broader range of areas of application, including biology, humanities and social science.
Our undergraduate course prepares students to work in strategic sectors of public and private sector organizations, as well as qualifying them for academic research and consulting projects.
The FGV School of Applied Mathematics (FGV EMAp) was founded in 2011 in order to offer an undergraduate course that trains professionals capable of tackling real-life issues that require the production and study of mathematical models to solve them.
