2024 FGV EAESP admission process: Discounted application fee until April 5

The discounted application fee for the selection process at Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP) will end on Friday, April 5, at 6 p.m. Until then, candidates will pay R$75 to take part in the selection process, whether based on the school’s entrance exam or international exam results. After this date, the fee will be R$150. For applications based on the results of the National High School Exam (ENEM), the discounted fee is R$25, rising to R$50 after 6 p.m. on Friday.

FGV EAESP will waive the application fee in the case of students who spent their entire high school education at government schools (municipal, state or federal) or who received a full scholarship at private schools. You just need to prove the above, via documents, by April 29 for the university entrance exam process or by May 13 for the ENEM process.

In all, there are 250 places for the school’s daytime business administration program. As it celebrates its 70th anniversary, FGV EAESP has some exciting new features: a highly innovative and sustainable building at 63 Rua Professor Picarolo and a new curriculum, in which it is possible to choose an area of information in which to delve deeper.

There are 10 areas of focus that you can choose from, and there are places for low-income students and members of underrepresented groups:

  • Business Economics;
  • Business and Law;
  • Data Science;
  • Finance;
  • Innovation and Entrepreneurship;
  • International Business and Global Management;
  • Leadership and People Management;

The 250 slots for the daytime business administration program are broken down as follows:

  • FGV EAESP entrance exam: 196;

  • International selection processes: 34 (based on candidates’ results in the International Baccalaureate, Germany’s ABITUR exam, France’s BAC exam or the United States’ SAT);
  • Low-income people and members of underrepresented groups: 10. Candidates must have spent their entire high school education at government schools or received a full need-based scholarship at private schools, or they must identify as black, mixed-race or indigenous.

About the selection process

The selection process is composed of two phases. The first phase has two modules (a multiple-choice test and an essay and applied mathematics test), while the second phase is an oral exam.

The multiple-choice test will last three and a half hours, and it will cover mathematics, the humanities (history, geography and current affairs), Portuguese language and English language. The essay and applied mathematics test will last three hours.

The first phase test will take place on June 9. The first phase scores will be disclosed as of 6 p.m. on June 24. Participants will also have an oral exam between June 26 and July 3. The final results will be announced as of 6 p.m. on July 8, including for the selection process based on ENEM. The results based on international exams will be announced on July 22.

Merit scholarships will be awarded to the best performers in the university entrance exam and non-refundable scholarships will also be granted to students experiencing financial difficulties. FGV EAESP also grants refundable scholarships (without interest, but merely adjusted in line with the IPCA inflation index) to undergraduate students who prove they are financially needy.
