For 5th time, FGV EAESP is rated Latin America’s best business school
Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP) leads América Economía magazine’s 2024 MBA ranking. In second place is the University of Chile, and third place is taken by San Andrés University in Buenos Aires. Since the ranking was created, FGV EAESP has come first in five years and been rated in the top five in 24 other evaluations.
In this edition, the publication evaluated programs offered by 38 Latin American institutions, based on criteria such as knowledge production, academic strength, return on investment, diversity and international activities.
FGV EAESP obtained the maximum possible score (100.0) for knowledge production, and it stood out for international activities and diversity (scoring 97.2). América Economía also noted that FGV EAESP is the only Latin American school to feature in the respected PitchBook Universities Report, which ranks the world’s universities that have produced the most entrepreneurs who have raised venture capital for their businesses. According to the magazine, FGV EAESP is among the five educational institutions with the best MBAs outside Europe and the United States.
The school’s triple international accreditation (EFMD-Equis, AACSB and AMBA) also contributed to its pole position. FGV EAESP is one of a select handful of institutions in the world with this recognition, attesting to its international quality, with a focus on excellence in teaching, research and learning. Only four institutions evaluated by the magazine have this triple accreditation.
High-flying graduates
América Economía also noted that in 2024, for the third consecutive year, FGV EAESP graduates had the highest average monthly income two to three years after graduating. Thus, it was concluded that the school turns out MBA graduates with high incomes, employed in regional or global corporate positions.
