Applications open for exclusive FGV-CAF training in public management, innovation & sustainability
Six-month program offers practical approach and opportunities to network with professionals from Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe.
Fundação Getulio Vargas’ International Affairs Division (FGV DINT) and the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) are now accepting applications for the third edition of the Governance and Public Innovation Training Course. This exclusive program, developed by CAF in partnership with FGV and 18 other prestigious institutions in 20 countries in Latin America, the Caribbean, Portugal and Spain, aims to strengthen the skills and abilities of leaders working in public administration, the private sector and civil society, enabling them to tackle the region’s present and future challenges.
The 166-hour program, which is scheduled to begin on May 7, will take a practical and up-to-date approach to strategic issues related to public management, inclusive sustainable development and digital transformation. The sessions will be led by renowned experts from FGV and CAF, covering topics such as:
- GovTech;
- Diversity, gender and socialinclusion;
- Artificial intelligence inpublic administration;
- Strategic communication;
- Agile tools,
- Climate change;
- The 2030 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The participants will have access to a combination of classes, talks and practical lab sessions, using active and innovative methodologies. In addition, there will be opportunities to network with regional experts and leaders from the public and private sectors, joint sessions with the program’s other partner universities, and participation in a virtual bootcamp to accelerate the best project in each country.
The course, which is among the best in the field, is affordable due to a subsidy offered by CAF. Applications will be open until May 2 and places are limited.
