As well as being created by Niemeyer, FGV's new architectural complex was also planned to house a significant part of Brazilian artistic production. Besides furniture designed by the architect, the building and the terrace will have three plastic works by internationally renowned artists: Adriana Barreto, Iole de Freitas and Maria Lynch.Named ?Eu giro e você...? (I turn and you...), the work of Adriana Barreto is a rotating sculpture about three meters high which is placed outdoors. Made of stainless steel and painted in red, it rotates very slowly. The idea is to make people wonder about the shape of the sculpture when passing by Botafogo beach, says the artist.Iole de Freitas honors a friend and gallerist, Anna Maria Niemeyer, Oscar's daughter, with Sopro (Blow) - a steel aerial curved structure that seems to float on the ceiling of the Tower's hall.  Maria Lynch also signs two huge colorful panels, which also adorn the walls of the hall.FGV's vice president, Sergio Franklin Quintella, says that the works of art were chosen by a committee established inside FGV in a kind of blind test, in which their authorship was omitted. He also reveals that the complex will house two other sculptures, which will not be present for the opening. One of them is a work by the artist Isabella Drummond, made of stainless steel.
