Award recognizes best practices in Regulation
FGV’s Rio de Janeiro Law School (Direito Rio) is welcoming applications for the “FGV Direito Rio Award – Best Practices in Regulation”. The event’s first edition awards best regulatory practices adopted by federal, state or municipal regulatory agencies, both individually and in partnership with other agencies and entities.
This initiative’s main objective is to ensure contributions that can bring advances to Brazilian Regulatory Law. Therefore, the initial goal is to promote successful regulatory practices developed in the country, in addition to enabling learning by overcoming challenges typically faced by regulatory agencies. Finally, the event represents an incentive to search for innovative and efficient paths in regulation.
The award was created under the Regulation in Numbers project, developed since August 2017 with the goal of building databases about Federal Regulatory Agencies. The initiative is part of the School’s projects conceived to use data for studies and analyses in a variety of fields, such as Supreme in Numbers.
Those interested in participating in the event must submit their projects by September 30. Go to the website to view award information and to register.
