Books by FGV's Law Schools are among the finalists of Jabuti Award

The books Legal Education Adventure and Legacy, by FGV's Rio de Janeiro Law School, and Thinking Brazil: National Problems in the Light of the Law, by São Paulo Law School, are the finalists of the Jabuti Awards - the most important editorial awards in the country - and compete in the Law category.Adventure and Legacy in legal education is the result of research conducted by Rio de Janeiro Law School with the support of CPDOC and it rescues ideas and attitudes that were part of the design and implementation of the first course of CEPED (Course of Lawyers and Firms). CEPED was a didactic experience in the field of Law, carried out by FGV, in arrangement at the time with the University of the State of Guanabara and the Ford Foundation.The book Thinking Brazil: National Problems in the Light of Law, on the other hand, of the series Law Under Discussion, organized by the Publications coordinator of São Paulo Law School, José Rodrigo Rodrigues, lists several issues analyzed in the light of the Law, within a contextualization of the Brazilian challenges towards development.The final result will be announced on October 17.Click here and check out the complete list.
