Call for papers: Seminar discusses transformations in administrative law during pandemic
Until October 30, Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Rio de Janeiro Law School and Rio de Janeiro State University’s Law School are receiving articles to present to working groups at the fifth edition of the two institutions’ Integration Seminar, which will take place on November 10 and 12. The theme of this edition is “Transformations in Administrative Law: Public Law and Regulation During the Pandemic.”
The goal of the seminar is to provide a space for high-quality debate on issues related to public law in Brazil. The initiative is also aimed at encouraging graduate students at the two institutions and in other programs to develop their ideas on the core subjects of each event, which will be closely examined by professors at different institutions in the working groups held during each edition of the seminar.
The focus of the fifth edition is diagnoses and solutions to deal with regulatory challenges and the application of administrative law related to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Following debates and presentations of papers, the seminar will lead to the publication of the fifth volume in the “Transformations in Administrative Law” series.
Master’s and doctoral students and graduates from any Brazilian higher education institution who wish to take part should submit their paper no later than October 30, by emailing email@example.com, putting “Trabalho para o GT” (“Paper for Working Group”) on the subject line.
For more information about how to submit papers, see the public notice.
