Ceremony held to swear in ABCA’s new academics, Board of Directors and Audit Council
On October 31, at 6 pm, Fundação Getulio Vargas will host a ceremony for the Brazilian Academy for Administrative Science (ABCA), to swear in its new academic members, Board of Directors and Audit Council. The event will take place in the 12th floor auditorium in FGV’s main building (Praia de Botafogo, 190, Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro).
The central theme of the ceremony will be “Environmental Management.” FGV will now be represented at ABCA by Professor Paulo Roberto Motta (of FGV EBAPE), who will be the chairman of its Board of Directors, Professor Antonio Freitas (FGV’s provost for education, research and graduate studies), who will be its vice president, and Professor Alvaro Cyrino (of FGV EBAPE), who will serve as its financial director.
Antonio Rodrigues de Andrade, Lucio Mariano Albuquerque Melo, Marcus Vinícius Carvalho Rodrigues and Norman de Paula Arruda Filho will also be sworn in as academic members of ABCA.
