Coordinator of the Center for International Relations represents FGV in Buenos Aires

Professor Elena Lazarou, coordinator of FGV's Center for International Relations, based at CPDOC - was in Argentina to participate in a series of academic events in the capital, Buenos Aires.Invited by the Argentinean Council of International Relations (CARI), Elena Lazarou presented the lecture ?The EU, Brazil and Latin America: challenges and opportunities. Throughout her work mission, the professor met with members of CARI, other think tanks and also with political authorities, such as the former Minister of Economy of Argentina, Jesús Rodríguez; the director of the think tank Fundación Pensar, Iván Petrella; the ambassador Diego Tettamanti, the undersecretary of Latin-American Policy, and the academic director of CARI, José María Lladós.During the trip, Lazarou also delivered the lecture Emerging powers: a view from Brazil at the 7th International Congress of Economics and Management (Econ 2013), carried out at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).Please click here to learn more about the activities of the Center for International Relations.
