Dialogue between motherhood and careers: Event launches FGV Female Leadership Committee

During Women’s Month, Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP) is launching the FGV Female Leadership Committee, which aims to promote gender equality and discuss issues relevant to women’s professional development. The launch event will be held on March 5, at 5:30 p.m., in the Noble Room in Sao Paulo.

The theme to be explored will be “A Dialogue Between Motherhood and Careers,” addressing the repercussions of the 2023 Nobel Prize in Economics. The “burden of motherhood” and strategies for reconciling motherhood, fatherhood and careers will be discussed.

The panel will feature diverse voices representing different experiences and perspectives of women who are leaders in their fields, contributing to an inclusive discussion. In addition, there will be a presentation by the Female FGV Network, in which women entrepreneurs and leaders will share inspiring stories from their companies and trajectories.

This will be a unique opportunity to participate in a meaningful and reflective dialogue. There will be an initial moment to get to know each other and network.

The event is open to the entire FGV community and anyone interested in the topic of gender equality, including women who are considering motherhood, as well as those who have chosen not to have children, and men.
