EBAPE holds lecture on Public Security with BOPE's former commander

FGV's Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (EBAPE) will welcome, on August 13, the Staff Operations Chief of the Military Police of the State of Rio de Janeiro (PMERJ), Colonel Alberto Pinheiro Neto, for the lecture BOPE's strategic repositioning in the light of the new scenarios of Public Security in Rio de Janeiro. What is the future of the Elite Squad?  The event is part of the series of lectures on Leadership and Strategy - an activity by EBAPE's Executive Master program in Business Management (MEX) which brings together leaders of major public and private organizations to ponder over the dilemmas and challenges of management in Brazil, coordinated by professors Carlos Otavio Quintella and Marco Tulio Zanini.  The lecture, held in Portuguese, is open to the public and will take place in the auditorium on the 12th floor of FGV's headquarters in Rio at 7 pm.  Alberto Pinheiro has already been a commander of the Special Operations Battalion (BOPE) and the Special Operations Command of PMERJ.  Click here to register (page in Portuguese)
