EBAPE sets up judging committee for the 2013 Emerald/CAPES Research Awards

The professor of the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV/EBAPE), Alexandre Faria, is one of the judging committee members of the 2013 Emerald/CAPES Research Award, which evaluates knowledge dissemination and social development projects applied to the Brazilian reality, in the fields of Information Science, Administration and Management. For Alexandre Faria, the prize - the result of a partnership between the academic press Emerald and the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) - promotes the recognition of research in Administration on social development in Brazil, and represents an incentive for innovative projects and networks of academics committed to local reality. I hope that this initiative will be followed by other institutional initiatives to help turn Brazil into a more sustainable and autonomous reference in administration and in other fields, says the researcher. The process of final evaluation of the projects will be held at CAPES' main offices, in Brasília, at the end of this month. The winner of each category will receive a cash prize of three thousand dollars. For more information, please click here. (in Portuguese)
