EBAPE student wins national entrepreneurship competition

The undergraduate student of the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV/EBAPE), Bruno Szpiro, won, on December 5th, the 1st Banco do Brasil Entrepreneurship Competition - which took place at Faculdade Rio Branco, in São Paulo.The BB Entrepreneurship Competition had 100 candidates who, in two qualifying rounds, were evaluated by a special committee made up of businessmen and university professors. Launched in early October, the competition brought together projects related to sports in the areas of Communication, Finance, Infrastructure, Human Resources, Health, Sustainability, Technology and Retail.Szpiro was awarded by the Sports Communication project ?B&L Inteligência Esportiva?. His idea includes a multi-interactive platform. The user can sign up and create a profile to have more contact with his/her favorite team. Moreover, other services of the club (tickets, shopping for exclusive materials, etc.) and several forms of entertainment with the fans can be accessed through the platform. The main goal is to enable the Club to know its fans better and and guide its marketing campaigns more effectively he explains.According to the undergraduate studies coordinator of FGV/EBAPE, Professor Richard Fonseca, student success in the competition is the result of his/her individual commitment and the courses' collective efforts. I was very proud of the quality of his work and I had no doubt that he would do well, says the professor, who congratulates the student.
