EBAPE welcomes students from IE Business School in Madrid

For the second consecutive year, the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV/EBAPE) welcomes students from IE Business School, one of the School?s international partners. This time, 14 students of the Master in International Management are participating in Doing Business in Brazil - a program offered by EBAPE which presents an overview of the political, economic and social aspects of Brazil, during five days. The program includes lectures with the School's professors and guests, and business visits to companies and institutions based in Rio de Janeiro. In this edition, the students will visit Central Globo de Produções (Projac), Rio's Operations Center and the Pacifying Police Unit (UPP) of the Santa Marta community, where they will watch a presentation on the pacification process in the region. The idea of the organizers of the visit is to present important aspects of society, customs and business environments of Rio and Brazil to the participants, leading to a better understanding of how to do business in the country. In January this year, the students of the Executive Masters in Business Management (MEX) participated in a similar course at IE - a one week Short Exchange, focusing on Spanish administration and culture.IE Business School is located in Madrid, Spain, and is considered the best Business institution in Europe by the Financial Times' ranking. Doing Business in Brazil will finish tomorrow, October 25th.
