EESP's international master takes students to the London Stock Exchange
Last week, students of the first class of the International Master in Finance (IMF) - intensive professional master developed by São Paulo School of Economics (FGV/EESP) and the New School of Business and Economics of Portugal (Nova SBE) - were welcomed in London by the partner institution of the program, Cass Business School.
At the British school, the participants undertook a unique workshop on Financial Markets. Also, they visited the London Stock Exchange and institutions such as Standard & Poors, London Metal Exchange and Ashmore, among others.
Coordinated by professor Ricardo Rochman, from EESP, and Miguel Ferreira, from New SBE, IMF is taught in English and its objective is to develop Financial knowledge and applications in a multicultural environment, with classes in São Paulo, Lisbon and London. The program lasts 12 months and focuses on students with undergraduate studies in Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering, or other related areas. The students will receive a master's degree diploma issued by EESP and Nova SBE.
This unique opportunity will provide students with valuable knowledge about high-impact markets in a global financial environment and the chance to learn from some of the leading scholars and financial experts, said the coordinators.
Registration for the second class, which begins in August, can already be made through IMF's website. Please click below to learn more about the program.
