EPGE promotes first alumni meeting of the year

On Tuesday, FGV/EPGE - Brazilian School of Economics held another edition of Carreira em Foco?, in collaboration with the Internship and Job Placement sector and partnership of the Academic Directory. The event is part of a series of debates Contemporary Issues and aims to bring former students to share their academic and professional experiences. This time, the event's participants included Luísa Mazer, advisor to the Secretary of State of Finance of Rio de Janeiro; Francisco Costa, a former undergraduate and master's student of FGV/EPGE, PhD by the London School of Economics and now a professor at the School; Aloma Miranda, Full Procurement Analyst at Vale, and Renato Wanderley Gomes, an analyst at Banco BTG Pactual.The four guests were unanimous in highlighting the value added to the ongoing development of their careers, especially with regard to structured thinking and logical reasoning. They also spoke about moments of trouble, courage, and success.Next event will discuss sustainabilityNext Tuesday, EPGE welcomes former Environment Minister, Carlos Minc, who will speak on the topic Challenges of Sustainable Development.The lectures always take place at 2 pm, in the auditorium of FGV's main offices in Rio de Janeiro.
