ESG agenda: webinar debates possibilities, uncertainties and regulatory changes

On October 27, Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo Law School is holding a webinar called “ESG Agenda Practices: Possibilities, Uncertainties and Regulatory Changes.” The event will be livestreamed on YouTube at 6 pm.
The implementation of ESG best practices has proved to be a challenge for companies. This webinar will debate how Bill 3,729 of 2004, currently under discussion in the Senate, may affect the Brazilian environmental agenda, environmental governance, licensing, the role of the environmental protection agency, Ibama, greenwashing and changes to the Sao Paulo Stock Exchange’s listing requirements.
These topics will be discussed by Ilene Patricia de Noronha Najjarian, a professor at FGV LAW and federal prosecutor at the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission; and Daniela Mussolini Llorca Sanchez of FGV LAW. The moderator will be Maria Cláudia Girotto do Couto, FGV LAW’s academic coordination manager.
