FGV Projetos has been commissioned to help select six pilot projects run by startups in cooperation with established companies or social organizations that present solutions related to environmental sustainability, social responsibility or the application of governance best practices. This is a part of a contest called the “ESG Journey,” organized by the Brazilian Industrial Development Agency (ABDI). The deadline for applications is October 6.

In addition to a R$250,000 prize for each of the six selected projects, the winners will also receive support from Fundação Getulio Vargas, which will monitor the implemented solutions.

FGV will work with the selected organizations to help accelerate the projects and track the implementation of solutions. Several initiatives have been proposed to assist the startups, including talks, webinars and diagnostic sessions to enhance their results and prepare them for growth.
