Event brings together experts to debate mathematics in industry
In-person meetings in FGV’s main building in Rio to take place between January 29 and February 2
FGV’s School of Applied Mathematics (FGV EMAp) is holding a Mathematics in Industry workshop from January 29 to February 2 in FGV’s main building in Rio de Janeiro. The aim is to foster integration between the school’s academic activities and industry challenges.
During the workshop, working groups will be set up, featuring students, professors and researchers from FGV EMAp and professionals from companies. Over the course of the week, each group will tackle a specific problem proposed by the companies and the solutions will be presented on the last day of the event.
