Event brings together professionals to debate innovation ecosystems and entrepreneurship
The world’s leading economic centers, such as Silicon Valley, New York and London, continue to dominate investors’ attentions. However, new arrangements in specific sectors such as finance, digital security and blockchain solutions have arisen, according to a study titled Global Startup Ecosystem 2018. To discuss this subject, FGV IDE – Executive Education is holding a webinar about “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystems in Brazil and Across the World” on February 13, at 11:30 am.
The webinar will present the current situation involving innovation ecosystems and entrepreneurship, as well as success stories such as the cities selected by the MIT Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program (REAP). In particular, it will showcase tools for evaluating and investing in startups, and prospects for corporate venture growth in Brazil and across the world. It will also examine open innovation methodologies applied to companies such as 5Cs and 5Is, as well as tools related to engagement, innovation process management and indicators.
The debate will feature Hudson Mendonça of the Funding Agency for Studies and Projects (FINEP), who has more than 15 years of experience in science, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship; Thiago Guimarães Peixoto, who has been working on research and development projects at large companies like TV Globo for more than 10 years; Ricardo Moraes, the CEO and founder of Ocaflow, a governance platform to help companies, their employees and investors to create and manage cap tables, corporate contracts and reports, in order to improve decision making and communication between partners and stakeholders in real time; and Lindália Junqueira Reis, the academic coordinator of FGV’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management course.
