Event marks the launch of a new FGV center focused on compliance
FGVethics will develop corporate and public management strategies, policies and tools both in the domestic and international spheres. The center’s main goal is to reflect, innovate, produce and disseminate applied content on ethics, transparency, integrity and compliance.
FGV’s Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP) and Instituto Ética Saúde will host the Healthcare Compliance Workshop on February 13, starting at 8:30 a.m. The event will be held at EAESP (Rua Itapeva, 432, 4th floor. Bela Vista, Sao Paulo/SP), launching the School’s Center for Ethics, Transparency, Integrity and Compliance Studies (FGVethics).
The new center is a multidisciplinary forum conceived as a catalyst for ethical practices among public and private institutions and individuals. FGVethics will develop corporate and public management strategies, policies and tools both in the domestic and international spheres. The center’s main goal is to reflect, innovate, produce and disseminate applied content on ethics, transparency, integrity and compliance.
The event will be opened by professor Ligia Maura Costa (FGVethics) and Glaucio Pegurn Liborio (Instituto Ética Saúde), followed by a presentation on the “advancements and challenges to implement Integrity Programs as an anti-corruption tool”. The meeting will also discuss the “new instruments to promote Ethics and Compliance in the Healthcare Value Chain – QualIES case study”.
In addition, the Healthcare Compliance Workshop will celebrate the signature of a Cooperation and Partnership Agreement between Instituto Ética Saúde and FGVethics, under the purpose of promoting and strengthening ethical principles and efforts against corruption and unlawful activities in the healthcare sector and in society in general, designing educational measures, carrying out joint research projects, and developing actions in other areas of mutual interest, such as technical cooperation efforts.
Instituto Ética Saúde (IES) is a civil society non-profit organization that brings together companies and institutions to voluntarily establish anti-corruption and anti-bribery rules in the healthcare sector. The IES seeks to promote the healthcare sector’s sustainability by disseminating ethical conduct among all players within a transparent and fair-competition environment.
