Event presents report discussing possibilities for applying Anti-Corruption Law in Brazil
The Anti-Corruption Law deals with organizations’ administrative and civil liability for acts of corruption against national or foreign public administration bodies
On February 1 at 10 a.m., the FGV Sao Paulo Law School’s Compliance Study Group will present the conclusions of a study on the possibility of not applying the fine provided for in Law 12,846 of 2013 in exceptional situations that prove beneficial to companies, if they voluntarily report such situations to the authorities with a view to entering into a “leniency agreement” under this law.
The main lecture will be given by Renato Machado de Souza, a director at the Office of the Comptroller General, and the moderator will be Carlos Henrique da Silva Ayres, a lecturer at the FGV Sao Paulo Law School on compliance-related subjects. To take part, please sign up here.
