Event presents strategic view of Brazil-Japan relationship in last decade

Fundação Getulio Vargas’ School of International Relations (FGV RI) is holding an event called “10 Years of Brazil-Japan Relations as a Strategic and Global Partnership (2014-2023).” This public webinar will take place on February 3, at 8 pm, on FGV’s YouTube channel.

At this event, part of a series of webinars held in partnership by FGV RI and Japan House SP, the speakers will discuss strategic relations between Brazil and Japan in the last decade.

The meeting will provide an overview of this bilateral relationship and set out possible ways forward to expand cooperation in areas such as technology, the climate and multilateralism.

Professor Eduardo Viola of FGV RI will participate as a debater, presenting Brazilian perspectives of relations with Tokyo, alongside Professor Akiko Koyasu of Sophia University, Tokyo. The moderator will be Laís Müller of FGV RI.
