FGV alumni give welcome talk for Professional Master’s in Economics and Finance Program
Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Brazilian School of Economics and Finance (FGV EPGE) is holding a welcome talk featuring renowned economist Roberto Castello Branco for new students on the Professional Master’s in Economics and Finance Program. The event will take place on March 4, at 6:30 p.m., in FGV’s main building.
The school has been training executives for 20 years. In addition to the lecture by Castello Branco, it will be an opportunity to hear from three former students of the program who today hold prominent positions in the Brazilian job market.
They will talk about current challenges in their areas of work and how the education provided by FGV EPGE’s Professional Master’s Program has helped them build solutions.
Gabriel Leal de Barros, chief economist at Ryo Asset, has executive experience in macroeconomic fund management and the use of quantitative methods in finance and data science.
Loana von Gaevernitz Lima, director of the German-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Rio de Janeiro, has executive experience in strategic business planning and institutional relations at an international level, the energy transition and public sector economics for the promotion of social welfare and risk mitigation.
Joao Ramos, head of the CEO’s office at Neoenergia, is an executive with extensive experience in the commodities and power sectors, who has made some major contributions related to the field of business economics and management.
