FGV and CAF launch free online course on Project Management Applied to the Public and Private Sectors in Latin America
Fundação Getulio Vargas, through its International Affairs Division, in partnership with Latin American development bank CAF, is now accepting applications for a free online course on Project Management Applied to the Public and Private Sectors in Latin America. The aim is to train professionals to spread project management best practices in the public and private sectors. A launch event will be held on October 2, at 4:30 pm, in FGV’s auditorium in Brasilia (SGAN, Block 602, modules A, B and C, Brasilia). It will be attended by CAF’s representative in Brazil, Jaime Holguín, and the program’s co-author, Lorena Benchimol.
The course, which will begin on October 16, is designed for project leaders, planners, controllers and executors, as well as other professionals interested in the subject. The participants will have to do 30 hours of classes.
The program’s purpose is to strengthen the skills and abilities of professionals who manage projects in the public and private sectors, through conceptual tools and techniques in the areas of planning, scheduling, execution and control, so that they can efficiently tackle project management challenges.
Those interested in taking part can apply until December 10, and the deadline for completing the program is December 31. Those who sign up will have access to the study program, calendar, topics to be explored, and other information.
