FGV and Itaú Social establish partnership for training of managers in education
Fundação Getulio Vargas and Fundação Itaú Social have established a partnership to hold two free courses on basic education: “Planning and Strategy for School Management” and “Leadership and Participatory Management in School”. Both programs focus on public school teachers, who are or wish to become heads of teaching units. The courses are available on FGV In Company website and, on completion, will award students with completion certificates with the seals of both institutions.
The program of the “Planning and Strategy for School Management” course, with a 10-hour workload, addresses subjects such as political-pedagogical projects; education policies and programs; school unit management; people management; school management; and negotiation and mediation.
In turn, the “Leadership and Participatory Management in School” course has an 8-hour workload. Its program covers topics such as leadership approaches and perspectives; team leadership, management and development; negotiation and decision-making process; and negotiation and conflict management.
