FGV and Lisbon University Institute launches Global Executive MBA

With the objective of strengthening its educational programs, internationalize the academic-professional training and encourage the international mobility of students with no language barriers, Getulio Vargas Foundation and the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL) jointly launched the Global Executive MBA. The program - which provides dual diploma in nine specializations - is offered in Brazil through FGV Management, and in Portugal through INDEG, unit of ISCTE Business School (IBS). The course is divided into two modules, each in a country, under the direction of the dean of ISCTE, Professor Luiz Antero Reto, and FGV's International Director, professor Bianor Cavalcanti.  The Global Executive MBA is directed at entrepreneurs, executives and university professors in order to meet the increasing demands of the current job market. Emphasis is given to systemic reflection, acceptance and the use of change and diversity in the business environment, in addition to encouraging openness to multiculturalism and skills to develop solutions for different situations and positioning of problems - always taking into consideration the cultural peculiarities of the Portuguese language countries. The first group of the partnership is the affiliate of FGV in Campinas, IBE, which has been in Lisbon in November.
