FGV EAESP professor receives 2024 Outstanding Administrators Award
The coordinator of the Business Administration Program and Alumni Program at Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP), Renato Guimarães Ferreira, was honored with a 2024 Outstanding Administrators Award in the Academic category.
This awards scheme is run by the Sao Paulo Regional Administration Council, in partnership with the National Association of Undergraduate Administration Courses (ANGRAD). The idea is to recognize the importance of coordinators of higher education courses in administration and management and thereby help strengthen the administrative field.
According to Edson Sadao Iizuka, the president of ANGRAD, “These awards are essential for enhancing business education, promoting innovation and training leaders committed to a sustainable world.”
He added that this initiative inspires all educators by recognizing academics dedicated to training future professionals. “It is a real honor and a source of great joy to be working together with the Sao Paulo Regional Administration Council on this important initiative,” he said.
The awards ceremony was attended by the following FGV EAESP alumni: Álvaro Augusto Araujo Mello, Camila Figueiredo (Alumni Program coordinator), Claudia Costin, Eduardo Prado, Edson Sadao, Nelson Barth (deputy coordinator of the school’s Business Administration Undergraduate Program), Marcos Cobra and Silvio Pires de Aula (Alumni Program Ambassador).
