FGV?s School of Public and Business Administration in Rio de Janeiro (EBAPE) welcomed, on April 1st, around 50 students from Tilburg University for a lecture given by Professor André Coelho. During the event, they discussed the impacts on the business environment in Brazil as a result of major sporting events (World Cup and Olympics). The goal is to enrich debate and cultural exchange among students from both institutions.  The event is part of the International Sessions program, a partnership between the School?s International Relations Coordination (IR) and the Business Academic Board (DAA). During the event, the students of Asset SBIT - a student organization from Tilburg, dedicated to the study of intersection between Business and Information Technology - also held a lecture on how technology has impacted business networks.  The University of Tilburg has been EBAPE's partner since 2010. The partnership with the Dutch institution allows undergraduate and graduate students exchanges, the joint development of research projects and the development of modules with visiting professors from both institutions.
