FGV economics student leads ANPEC National Exam ranking
Gabriel Dias, student at FGV’s EPGE Brazilian School of Economics and Finance (EPGE) ranked first overall in the National Exam of the National Association of Economics Graduate Courses (ANPEC 2018), according to the results published on November 3. A total of 1,413 candidates from around the country took ANPEC’s exam.
In addition to Dias, two other EPGE students ranked among the top 10 in ANPEC’s exam. Rafael Costa Berriel Abreu ranked third and Igor Antônio Araújo Carreira ranked sixth. The ninth place was Rafael Russo, an external student of EPGE’s Master’s course.
Established in 1973, ANPEC brings together Brazilian institutions that carry out research and training activities at a graduate level in the field of Economics. Every year, the association organizes the National Selection Exams for candidates of Master’s in Economics offered by its members or associated centers. ANPEC exam grades are also used in the selection process of some PhD courses.
