FGV EMAp receives maximum possible score of 5 in Education Ministry evaluation
Fundação Getulio Vargas’ School of Applied Mathematics (FGV EMAp) obtained the maximum possible score of 5 when the Brazilian Education Ministry recently reaccredited the school and officially recognized its Applied Mathematics Program.
The results were announced by the ministry after its evaluation committee interviewed managers, faculty members, students and employees, as well as carrying out other necessary assessment activities.
The reaccreditation of higher education institutions is a fundamental stage in the regulation and evaluation of higher education in Brazil. This process consists of a thorough assessment of various aspects of the institution, such as infrastructure, teaching staff qualifications, teaching resources, teaching, research and extension policies, and academic and administrative management.
The top score for the Applied Mathematics Program reinforces FGV’s prominent position in the educational community and it will help attract talented students who benefit from its strategic partnerships with government bodies and other institutions.
