On March 7, FGV Energy welcomed the president of the Brazilian Association of Electricity Distributors (ABRADEE), Professor Nelson Fonseca Leite, to discuss the topic Analysis of the Economic Impacts of the Thermoelectric Resolution under the perspective of Distributors. The lecture was led by FGV Energy's director, Carlos Otavio Quintella, and coordinated by the general coordinator of the research center, Lavínia Hollanda.The discussion was attended by FGV's counselor, Lindolpho Dias; Professor Sandoval Carneiro; the director of FGV/EPGE - Graduate School of Economics, Rubens Penha Cysne; the director of the Strategic Planning and Innovation Division (DPEI), João Paulo Villela de Andrade, besides EPGE professors, IBRE researchers and the research team of FGV Energy. About FGV EnergyFGV Energy is a research center linked to the presidency of FGV, whose objective is to produce, promote and disseminate research and knowledge in the energy area to support FGV's strategic positioning in the energy area, strengthening its recognition and action as a think tank in the sector.  FGV Energy focus on studying the energy sector with an emphasis on seven large areas (oil, natural gas, electricity, nuclear energy, biofuels, renewable sources and energy efficiency) to assist private companies and the government in their decision making processes, and establish partnerships with other institutions and research centers in Brazil and abroad.
