FGV expands activities in Paraguay

Continuing with FGV’s international expansion process, its International Affairs Division has signed another agreement to train government employees at Paraguay’s Presidency and some of its key ministries.
The contract, which will be executed jointly with IDE, was signed by FGV’s international director, Marlos Correia de Lima, and the chief of cabinet of Paraguay’s Ministry of Public Works and Communications, Josefina Rimero, on December 21, in Asunción.
The main goal of the training is to increase efficiency, improve public management results and ensure the sustainability of services provided by Paraguay’s government authorities.
Paraguay has around 7 million inhabitants. Its per capita income is similar to Brazil’s and its economy has strong links with Brazil, especially in the areas of commerce, industry and energy.
