In the week leading up to National Book Day, which is celebrated in Brazil on October 29, Fundação Getulio Vargas’ libraries are holding a Book Exchange Fair. This public event will be held in the cities of Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo on October 24, 25 and 26.

The Book Exchange Fair has been running for 13 years and it has become a traditional fixture in the FGV community. Since 2010, its main objective has been to encourage reading and the sharing of experiences through the exchange of printed books between participants. The initiative underscores the FGV Library System’s commitment to the cultural and intellectual enrichment of students, professors and employees.

As well as promoting reading, the event encourages a spirit of sharing and the formation of bonds within the FGV community. Join us on October 24, 25 and 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and bring a book you want to exchange for another one!
