FGV hosts United Nations Turnaround
The Center for Sustainability Studies (GVces) of FGV’s Sao Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP) has opened registrations for the third edition of the United Nations Turnaround – International Negotiation Simulation in Sustainable Development, which will take place on May 11 and 12, in São Paulo.
The scheduled activities include a plenary session with representatives of the United Nations, corporations, and civil society organizations involved in the international agenda for Sustainable Development, and an opening lecture on Human Rights with Oscar Vilhena, Dean of FGV’s Sao Paulo Law School (Direito SP).
Throughout both days of the event, participants will experience the complexity of negotiations for sustainable development, debating and negotiating major global challenges of sustainability and subjects related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations. The idea is for each participant to play an active role, interacting with others in this simulation of UN conferences and multilateral negotiations for sustainable development.
By the end of the event, participants will acquire new insights and extensive knowledge regarding sustainable development and international negotiations. In addition, they will also have the opportunity to hear and meet lecturers and industry experts in parallel sessions, as well as participating in part of the Sustainability track of the Professional Master’s in Management for Competitiveness.
