FGV hosts visit from Japanese Consul General
The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen relations between Brazil and Japan, as well as to discuss issues related to the energy transition.
On November 28, FGV Energy hosted a visit from the Consul General of Japan in Rio de Janeiro, Takashi Manabe. The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen relations between Brazil and Japan, as well as to discuss issues related to the energy transition. The president of FGV, Professor Carlos Ivan Simonsen, and the executive director of FGV Energy, Carlos Quintella, attended the meeting.
Another topic discussed at the meeting was the Brazil-Japan Energy Transition Seminar, to be held in 2024, in order to create an environment for companies and governments to debate and share knowledge, to present investment opportunities and energy partnerships in Brazil and to discuss trends and cooperation in the energy market in areas such as green hydrogen, offshore wind and biofuels.
