FGV Knowledge launches training program for insurance brokers
As of September, Fundação Getulio Vargas is accepting applications for the first class in its Training Program for Insurance Brokers. Designed in two modalities, the initiative provides special qualifications through which brokers can boost their professional career and stand out in the job market.
Aimed at both new brokers and those seeking to stay up to date with digital challenges and transformations in the sector, the course uses an innovative distance learning methodology that combines live and recorded classes, under the guidance of FGV professors and tutors. The training program is scheduled to begin in November.
The program focuses on subjects related to lottery bonds, life insurance and pensions, arranged in Basic and Innovation modalities, to best meet the demands of the sector and different types of professionals. It is also possible to take modules or subjects independently.
Students who reach the minimum attendance and test score levels will receive a certificate from Fundação Getulio Vargas, which will be recognized as a professional qualification by the Brazilian Private Insurance Regulatory Agency (SUSEP). Earlier this year, FGV was authorized by SUSEP to train insurance professionals, helping improve the sector’s entire infrastructure for brokers, companies and customers.
In addition to the training program, professionals can also take the National Insurance Sector Examination, which is run by FGV Knowledge. The deadline to register for the in-person exam is September 9, while the deadline for the online exam is September.
