FGV Online is recognized with the Sovereign Order of Merit in Education in Brasília

The vice-director of the Institute of Educational Development (IDE) of FGV, Stavros Xanthopoylos, received - on behalf of FGV Online, on November 8th - the Sovereign Order of Merit in Education. The delivery ceremony of the Cross of Merit of the Entrepreneur Juscelino Kubitschek took place at the National Congress, in Brasília.The award is conferred by the Brazilian Academy of Merit Awards (ABRAHM) for entrepreneurs, personalities and authorities that stood out throughout the decade. In September this year, ABRAHM had already recognized FGV Online as Corporate Highlight of 2013 in the distance education field.I proudly receive this award that highlights the best throughout the decade. It was one more recognition to FGV Online, among institutional and private awards. There are very few institutions worldwide that have a sustainable domain of such a wide range of technologies applied to education and a techno-pedagogical model so nationally and internationally recognized, said Xanthopoylos, who recalled that this was the 11th award won by FGV Online in 2013.For the vice-director of IDE, all the achievements were possible thanks to FGV and its staff.
