Enrollments for Fundação Getulio Vargas' college entrance exams, for the first half of 2014, were opened yesterday, July 8. In Rio de Janeiro, the courses offered include Business Administration, Economics, Law, History, Social Sciences and Applied Mathematics. In São Paulo, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics and Law. There are a total of 650 vacancies. In Rio, those interested have until September 30 to enroll, and the exams will take place in October. In São Paulo, enrollment goes until October 16, and the exams will take place between November and December, depending on the course. The public notice also exempts public school students from the enrollment fee through documentary evidence and, in Rio de Janeiro, the selection is based on the results of the Brazilian High School National Examination (ENEM).  FGV's college entrance exams further relies on a Facebook page in Portuguese, where students may participate in challenges set by large companies, and earn prizes for it. For more information, go to www.fgv.br/vestibular (available only in Portuguese).
