FGV Portal for High School students reaches 1.5 million accesses

Released in September 2012, the portal is a partnership between Publishing Company and the Board of Educational Solutions of the Institute of Educational Development (IDE/FGV) and has more than 65,000 users registered, who have access to more than 900 hours of lessons, besides almost 8,000 questions in all subjects required by ENEM.

FGV's portal Ensino Médio Digital (Digital High School) - which offers free online content for students and candidates for the Brazilian High School National Examination (ENEM) - reached the milestone of 1.5 million hits in January. That is what the report on the visits to FGV's website indicates, produced monthly by the Communications and Marketing Division (DICOM/FGV).The result confirms the success of the initiative, celebrates the director of FGV Press, Professor Marieta de Moraes Ferreira. Released in September 2012, the portal is a partnership between Publishing Company and the Board of Educational Solutions of the Institute of Educational Development (IDE/FGV) and has more than 65,000 users registered, who have access to more than 900 hours of lessons, besides almost 8,000 questions in all areas and subjects required by ENEM.The Portal is extremely important and successful. Besides the important role of providing online, free and quality content for students from all over Brazil, the Portal offers continuous training for the professors who work with us in helping to train a new generation of educators. Many of our employees are graduate students who now have the opportunity to produce didactic material, which is not easy, said Marieta.Digital Leres e SaberesThis year, FGV's portal Ensino Médio Digital launched another initiative: Leres e Saberes Digital (You Read and You Know), another free online course to prepare students to enter public and private universities. A total of 100 places are offered to students who have completed or are completing their high school studies in public schools across the country.The selected students will have the aid of tutors in each of the courses offered: Portuguese, Literature, Writing, Arts, English, Mathematics, Geography, History, Sociology, Philosophy, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.At the end, a statement of participation will be issued for the student who had a minimum success rate of 75% during the project.Please click below and learn more about FGV's portal Ensino Médio Digital (in Portuguese).http://ensinomediodigital.fgv.br/
